The value is not any one feature by itself. It is giving families, alumni, boosters, faculty, sponsors, supporters, and fans one consistent school-branded place to follow participating athletics throughout the season.
A family following football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, track, soccer, or other participating sports should not have to rebuild its digital experience every time the season changes.
Available Fan App information depends on the public data, school-provided content, supported integrations, and approved destinations available for each school, sport, team, or event. Authorized users can update information when manual entry is needed.
Following the program is one part of the Fan App experience. The next question is who receives accessâand how families choose the level that fits them.
FAN APP ACCESS

The Fan App serves both the people participating in the athletic program and the broader community following itâbut those groups do not receive access in the same way.
Eligible active participants receive complimentary individual access. Parents, families, alumni, boosters, faculty, sponsors, supporters, and fans use the available Fan App plans.
COMPLIMENTARY INDIVIDUAL ACCESS
ACTIVE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS
Complimentary individual Fan App access is provided to eligible people actively participating in or administering the schoolâs VARENTRA athletic program while their qualifying role remains active.

ONE FAN APP FOR THE FAMILY
NO SEPARATE APP FOR EVERY CHILD OR SPORT.
Families use the schoolâs Fan App rather than downloading a different app for every athlete, team, or sport they follow within that school. With the appropriate Fan App plan, family members can follow participating sports through the same school-branded experience.
That means a family following football in the fall, basketball in the winter, and softball, baseball, track, soccer, or other participating sports later in the year can remain connected through the same Fan App.
THE ACCESS RULE
Complimentary Fan App access is individual, role-based, and active only while the qualifying school role remains current. Family members and other supporters use the appropriate Fan App plan unless they independently qualify for complimentary access through their own active school role.

âHow many supporters would it take for Fan App participation, sponsorships and qualifying referrals to offset part of the schoolâs investment?â
The answer will be different for every school. VARENTRA does not guarantee Fan App participation, sponsorship revenue, referral income or any particular financial result.
Fan App purchase options become available after the schoolâs VARENTRA experience is activated. Referral payments are currently handled manually and apply when a qualifying referred school purchases VARENTRA.
Family access supports up to six eligible accounts within one family unit. Eligible family relationships may include parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren and grandparents. Family members do not have to live at the same address.

A family should not have to buy a different digital experience every time the sport or season changes. Fan App access is designed to let supporters choose the level of connection that actually fits how they follow the school.
PLAN DETAILS: Fan App access applies to participating VARENTRA athletics at the school associated with the plan. Eligibility, participating sports, season dates, account requirements, and available Fan App information may vary by school and program. Complimentary access applies only to qualifying active individual roles and does not automatically extend to family members.

The Fan App gives families and supporters a way to follow school athletics while also creating potential financial support for the program. Eligible Fan App purchases can return a portion of revenue to the school, while locally secured sponsorships and qualifying referrals can create additional sources of support.
The financial opportunity is an added benefitânot the reason a school should choose VARENTRA. The platform still needs to make sense for the way the athletic program operates and serves its community.
When it does, Fan App participation can create additional ways for the school to benefit from an already-engaged community.

When the school secures a local sponsorship for its VARENTRA experience, the school keeps 100% of that locally secured sponsorship revenue.
