Information and destinations depend on the data and public content available for each participating school, sport or game. VARENTRA can use existing school athletic information where technically supported, while authorized staff can enter or update information manually when needed.

Parents, grandparents and family members connect through the school’s Fan App. They do not need a different app or access point for each child or sport they follow within that school. With the appropriate Fan App plan, one account can follow participating sports and teams throughout that school’s athletic program.

When the school keeps its athletic information current, families and fans can use that connected experience to follow upcoming games, schedules, locations, ticket information, viewing or listening options, scores, updates and other available game-day information.

ONE PERSON MAY HAVE MORE THAN ONE ROLE

A person’s complimentary eligibility comes from an active athlete, coach, Athletic Director or authorized staff role—not from being a parent or family member.

THE ACCESS RULE

Complimentary Fan App access is individual, role-based and active only while the qualifying school role remains current. It does not extend automatically to family members.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION + FINANCIAL SUPPORT

THE COMMUNITY DOESN’T JUST FOLLOW ATHLETICS. IT CAN HELP SUPPORT IT.

VARENTRA is designed to give schools more than an operating platform. Once a school is activated, the Fan App can give families, alumni, boosters, sponsors and community supporters a year-round place to connect while creating potential sources of financial support for the athletic program.

“How many supporters would it take for Fan App participation, sponsorships and qualifying referrals to offset part of the school’s investment?”

The answer will be different for every school. VARENTRA does not guarantee Fan App participation, sponsorship revenue, referral income or any particular financial result.

Fan App purchase options become available after the school’s VARENTRA experience is activated. Referral payments are currently handled manually and apply when a qualifying referred school purchases VARENTRA.

Family access supports up to six eligible accounts within one family unit. Eligible family relationships may include parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren and grandparents. Family members do not have to live at the same address.

Because sponsorship arrangements and values will differ by school, no assumed sponsorship amount has been added to the example above.

Revenue opportunities may help offset the investment, but the platform must first make sense for the way your athletic department operates, communicates and serves its community.
